The right option for your business, not a best guess

There is no room for guesswork when a bus must earn its keep. You pick the dates. We handle the rest, including delivery, handover, and making sure your team knows exactly how to get the most from the bus. We give you the keys so you can test a Yutong on your routes, with your drivers and passengers.

It is a straightforward way to remove uncertainty from a big decision. Feel how the bus handles regional roads, school runs or high frequency stops.

Operators across Australia, from outback contractors to independent schools, use the trial to confirm what works best for their fleet.

Frequently asked questions

Is the trial really free?

Yes! We want you to be confident, and experience for yourself what makes our range of Yutong buses different. You only pay for your own fuel or energy use.

How long is the trial?

Up to two weeks is our standard period, though can be longer or shorter as schedules allow.

Do I need my own insurance?

We provide insurance - the trial is similar to a car hire agreement, except with zero cost. You'll sign a contract before the trial period commences, outlining your responsibilities during the period and what happens in case of an accident or damage. Contact our team to understand the terms of the trial period.

Where can I take the bus?

Wherever you like! The idea of the trial is to allow you to put a bus into use on your usual routes, so you get a feel for how it suits your operation and how it compares to your existing fleet.

What about charging for EVs?

We'll provide you with a charger during the trial period, and can point you towards public charging points in your area too. All electricity and energy costs are incurred by yourself.

What license do I need?

A medium rigid (MR) license is required to operate any of our range of buses. If you're unsure if your license is suitable, get in touch.

When can I trial a bus?

This depends on the schedule - we have a limited amount of trial buses available, and sometimes this means you may need to wait a few weeks. We'll advise you on the next available booking.
